WE DECIDED to adopt a visual approach to Cybersecurity; partly in an attempt to solve the complexity problem inherent to the field, and partly in order to provide onlookers with a capability to go rapidly from comprehensive overview to detailed close-ups—and in relation to all Cybersecurity concepts, things, processes and relations etc.

Accordingly, we have developed a number of different kinds of InfoGraphics that relate to the field Cybersecurity; and it is our hope that you may find them useful, and especially in terms of understanding the highly logical SCF theory.

Why InfoGraphics?

Information graphics or infographics are graphic visual representations of information, data or knowledge intended to present information quickly and clearly. The goal of such Infographics is to improve cognition by utilizing graphics to enhance the human visual system’s ability to see patterns and trends.

In accordance with the basic principles and theory of InfoGraphics; in producing our Cybersecurity diagrams, we have attempted to abide by efficient and effective graphical design principles and visual design best practice. For example, we have used eye-friendly designs and colours, plus employed a standardised approach to visuals across all graphics.

It is also our belief that any useful InfoGraphic should tell a story, in and of-itself; plus it should reward close attention/study. Above all we wanted our InfoGraphics to afford principles of logical analysis; that is to aid in the process whereby an onlooker wishes to explore the origins of HOW and WHY things come to be as they are within the Cybersecurity field as a whole, plus to see relations and explanations on all scales.

We do hope that you enjoy our InfoGraphics—and are able to put these to profitable affect.
